Job Description

This internship is designed for enrolled PRCI Tribal Team Members interested in gaining valuable managerial experienace within the Table Games Department, specifically in the role of Table Games Pit Manager.

The Intern will have the opportunity to gain up to (2 years) of on-the-job training, education and experience necessary to understand and perform the duties of the position by successfully completing all tasks and assignments listed in the Intern Work Plan Outline. Additionally, Interns will participate in LEAP trainings to gain leadership skills, computer training, and may acquire trade-specific certifications(s), or attend off-site trainings, in order to enhance their skills and broaden their service knowledge.

The Intern Table Games Pit Manager is responsible for implementing and ensuring all operations of Casino Table Games and employee performances are in compliance with the Company’s objectives and goals and Gaming regulations.

When the internship is deemed successfully completed, the participant will receive a Certificate of Completion which may be used when applying to future positions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervises the operation of assigned areas.
  • Assists in the selection, training and evaluation of subordinate employees. Maintains the highest quality standards in all areas of customer service and hospitality and developing players.
  • Ensures that all games move at an appropriate pace. Maintains appropriate game spread, limits and staffing.
  • Makes recommendations and suggestions to hire, transfer, suspend, promote, discharge, evaluate, assign and discipline all Table Games employees on their assigned shift in a fair and equitable manner.
  • Informs Casino Operations Managers of all noteworthy, suspicious, or unusual activity. Facilitates the flow of information throughout the casino.
  • Coaches and mentors employees in assigned area to maintain and improve on expected levels of performance, promotion and productivity by using positive motivation.
Job Requirements

    Must be an enrolled member of the Picayune Rancheria of Chukchansi Indians

    Minimum of six months to one year of experience as a Dual Rate Pit Manager required.

    One to two years as a Floor Supervisor required.

    Two to three years of dealing experience in casino operations required.
