ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Perform excellent customer service at all time.
  • Supervises and directs the operations of the Valet Department on assigned shift in the absence of the Transportation Supervisor.
  • Assists customers promptly and courteously in Valet check-in and checkout.
  • RUNS (never walks!) for all pick-ups from the Valet lot (weather conditions permitting), in accordance with established safety guidelines.
  • Parks vehicles in designated areas of the property, then accurately records the location of the vehicle onto a Valet receipt, which is attached to the appropriate keys and stored in the Valet office until the customer is ready to leave the property.
  • Maintains appropriate staffing levels in the Transportation Department.
  • Observes activities and procedures of Valet Team Members, to ensure smooth and efficient operation of assigned shift.
  • Ensures a maximum level of customer service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
  • Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
  • Resolves customer and Team Member complaints or problems in a manner consistent with the Company’s expectations.
  • Drive shuttle van and shuttle no more passengers than license allows.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Any reasonable request made by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises all Team Members in the Valet Department on assigned shift.

Valet Lead

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training Team Members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Team Members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED required.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

One or two years Valet experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communications skills required. Must possess a valid driver’s license from the State, as well as a good driving record.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints for customers. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers and other Team Members of company.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
