SUMMARY:

Responsible for auditing and tracking the physical inventory of food products and assisting with the inventory control process in accordance with Company procedures and guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Performs excellent customer service at all time.
  • Audits and keeps track of all incoming inventoried products.
  • Oversees daily transfers of inventory between venues.
  • Audits and keeps track of all outgoing inventoried products.
  • Enters inventory data in MMS and ensures accuracy.
  • Reviews invoices for cost accuracy for all incoming food products.
  • Assists purchasing with assuring proper pricing and makes adjustments as necessary.
  • Creates new items as necessary at the request of purchasing.
  • Investigates invoices and inventory discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintains accuracy of MMS items and makes adjustments as needed.
  • Ensures quality of inventoried items.
  • Keys in inventory at month end.
  • Responsible for par level maintenance.
  • Audits and tracks inventoried items.
  • Spot checks inventory.
  • Performs monthly inventory counts.
  • Checks inventory requisitions for accuracy to ensure current products and quantities are being delivered
  • Closes the open period Inventory for Accounting reports
  • Process and issues transfer requisitions in MMS
  • Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Performs any reasonable request made by management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED required. 4+ years’ experience in inventory control or related field experience

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer-literate, Knowledgeable in MMS software.

Ability to use 10-key. Available for any shift and/or weekends.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk or hear. The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The Team Member will follow Casino Appearance and Purchasing/ Warehouse dress code safety standards

The Employee is regularly exposed to risk of radiation (from computers), as a great deal of the workday is spent working on inputting data into the computer system.

The noise level in the work environment can vary from moderate to very loud when on the Casino Floor or in the Warehousing Operations. When on the casino floor, Team Member will be exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
